Moorea Humpback Whale Expedition

Join me on a lifetime opportunity to swim with humpback whales and explore the beautiful island of Moorea in the South Pacific.

Location

Moorea, only a 30-minute ferry ride from Tahiti is an extremely magical place where you can swim alongside majestic humpback whales! Every year, humpback whale populations migrate north from Antarctica to the South Pacific, seeking the warm waters of French Polynesia to nurture their newborn calves.

Excursion

Embark with me on a 7-day journey with me, including 5 days swimming among these incredible ocean giants. No SCUBA certification is required for this adventure.

We will have a private boat with only 5 clients, me, an experienced local captain, and a trained local whale tour guide. This will give us the freedom to go wherever we want around the island and do other activities as well! The fewer people the better the experience!

PHOTOGRAPHY

On top of the incredible experience, I will be giving a Photography Workshop teaching you the ins and outs of underwater and whale photography. There will be one-on-one instruction and I will be there the whole way helping you out.

My photos from the trip will also be available digitally for you to access at any time. So, you will not only have the experience of a lifetime but you will also have a professional photographer documenting the whole experience

There is no SCUBA on these expeditions, so all you need is the ability to swim with a mask, snorkel, and fins. While prior free-diving expertise is not necessary, participants should possess strong swimming abilities and feel at ease snorkeling in the deep blue ocean, as we anticipate swimming at least 100m to reach the whales.

Additoinal Info

This getaway is designed for individuals who harbor a deep love and reverence for the ocean.

Mo’orea adheres to regulations that prioritize the well-being of the whales by allowing them ample time to rest upon their arrival and before their departure. Throughout our excursions, we will carefully observe the whales' behavior before entering the water. Our approach is to let the whales guide our interactions, emphasizing spending a significant portion of our time on the water to maximize the likelihood of extraordinary encounters.

A portion of the profits will be donated to a local charity to help the children on the island and to preserve their culture. I’m also, only supporting local businesses and tours for this as well because I want to give back to the island that I love.
